I. Payment
II. Live Arrival Guarantee
All rooted plants, sold as retail, come with a live arrival guarantee if ALL of the following are satisfied:
Seller will assume liability for the health of the plant as long as buyer withholds actions on the plant until communicated and instructed by the seller.
All fresh cuttings, rehabs, clearance items sales are final. No returns, exchanges, or refunds of any kind will be accepted.
By actively choosing a slower shipping method, the buyer voids the live arrival guarantee and accepts all liability to the health of the plant as soon as the plant is dropped off at the courier.
III. Return/Refund Policy
For plants with live arrival guarantee, all returns must be approved by seller. Buyer pays the return shipping, in the same shipping method/courier + 2.5% of the price (restocking fees). In the case the return shipping exceeds 10% of the price of product, seller will pay 50% of return shipping.
IV. Courier Damage/Lost/Stolen Packages
Seller is not responsible for damage caused by delays, weather, or courier mishandling. Additional insurance via the courier can be purchased by the buyer (as indicated in the checkout form) for lost package or damage by courier. Claims must be filed by buyer. Seller will provide all necessary information and aid in the process.
Plant Zaddy Therapy packages plants with a lot of thoughts and care to ensure healthy arrival. Should a packing error occurs that causes damage beyond reasonable shipping shock, buyer must reach out to seller with pictures and unboxing video within 3 hours of arrival timestamp.
V. Reasonable expectation for receiving a shipped plant
Plant Zaddy Therapy is based in Wisconsin where it is below freezing four months out of a year. We grow in an indoor environment, soilless, ship year round and take all precautions to ensure best arrival conditions possible. However, some shipping shock and damage is typical, including creased leaves, slight discoloration (yellowing/browning of leaf), some root loss.
Buyer is strongly encouraged to research what to expect when receiving a shipped plant: not every plant ships the same, and not every journey is the same. Eg purchasing the same plant from Florida can have a different experience than receiving the plant from Wisconsin.
VI. Plant Care at arrival
Every plant requires different care. In general, plants at PZT are grown in 60-70% humidity and ambient grow light (averaging 160 micromol).
For individual plant history, please ask us before purchasing and have ample supplies to be prepared for arrival. We are happy to answer any questions whenever we can. However, as a small one-person-operation who operates on a small profit margin to make rare plants as accessible to many as possible, we do not allocate resources to walk every customer through how to grow every plant. Your understanding, cooperation and preparedness are actively helping spread the plant joy to the wider community.
